ANNUAL DAY-30.03.2019

The Annual Day programme was conducted by Akshaya Group of Institutions - Akshaya Vidayalaya Matriculation School, K.Nanjappa Gounder College of Education &Om Shanthi CBSE school. The programme presided by the Chief Guest Actor Mr. Thamu. Our Assistant Professor read out the Annual report of the academic year 2018-2019. Our college toppers received the prizes from chief guest, Secretary and our Correspondent.

Women's Day-08.03.2019

International Women's Day celebrated in our College. The programme was organised by our Secretary Dr. K. Kamalamani. The Chief Guest were Judge District Legislative Commission, Dindigul Judicial Magistrate Court and our Correspondent Dr. E.N. Palanisamy, MJF. The Judge spoke about the awareness of law for women's domestic violence and sexual harassment. Every woman has a right to live , and right to live with dignity and freely express herself!

Republic Day-26.01.2019

Republic Day celebration in our college. The flag hoisting by our college Assistant Professor Mr.S.Vishnudass and followed his speech. The patriotic songs was sung by our student teachers.

பாெங்கல் திருவிழா காெண்டாட்டம்-12.01.2019

தை பிறந்தால் வழி பிறக்கும் என்ற கருத்துக்கு இணையாக தை மாதத்தின் முதல் நாளாக பொங்கல் திருநாள் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. பொங்கல் என்பது தமிழர்களால் சிறப்பாகக் கொண்டாடப்படும் ஒரு தனிப்பெரும் விழா. பொங்கல், உழைக்கும் மக்கள் இயற்கைக்கும், மற்ற உயிர்களுக்கும் சொல்லும் ஒரு நன்றியறிதலாகக் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

பொங்கல் விழா, மக்களால் இயல்பாகக் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. உழைக்கும் தமிழ் மக்கள் தாமே கண்டுணர்ந்து, தமது உழைப்பிற்கு உதவிய இயற்கைக்கும், தம்மோடு சேர்ந்து உழைத்த கால்நடைகளுக்கும், தமது நன்றியையும் மகிழ்ச்சியையும் தெரிவிக்கும் விழா. உழவர்கள் மழையின் உதவியால் ஆடி மாதம் முதல் உழைத்துச் சேர்த்த நெல்லை மார்கழியில் வீட்டிற்குக் கொண்டு வந்து தமது உழைப்பின் பயனை நுகரத் தொடங்கும் நாளே தைப்பொங்கல்.

அக்க்ஷயா கல்வி குழுமம் ஒருங்கிணைந்து தைத்திருநாளாம் பாெங்கல் விழாவை ஆடல், பாடல், விளையாட்டு,  பாேட்டிகள் என்று இனிதே  காெண்டாடியது. மாணவர்களுக்கு பரிசும், பணியாளர்களுக்கு    வேஷ்டி, சேலை தாளாளரால் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

Importance of Environmental Education-05.12.2018

Environmental education provides the necessary skills and specialized knowledge to meet the challenges related to it. The main purpose of this education is to provide knowledge, to create awareness, to create an attitude of contemplation and to provide the necessary skills to control the environmental challenges. The importance of Environmental education speech was given by our Assistant Professor Dr. K. Ponmala and followed cleaning the environment and planting the trees by the student teachers.

Dengue Awareness for Students

As everybody knows “Health is wealth”.

“Good health and good sense are two of life’s greatest blessings” but now a day some dangerous diseases effects on health very much like one of its example is Dengue Fever.

Dengue fever, also known as break bone fever, is a mosquito-borne infection that can lead to a severe flu-like illness. It is caused by four different viruses and spread by Aedes mosquitoes. There are currently no vaccines. The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimate that 400 million people are infected each year.

How did we start?

We started by doing survey in schools and faced many problems. We taught the children how can they save themselves and their families from dengue. We advised them to spread this information among their knowns. So that all people will be aware of this disease. This campaign will be continued till the people will be continuing to tell the persons they will meet and they care about.

How did we counsel the students?

First we started by giving lecture. We asked many questions to them to know what are they known to?                

The programme was organised by our Vice-Principal Mrs. V. Amirtham and dengue awareness speech given by Assistant Professor Mrs. M.Selvamalini and at the end of the programme NILAVEMBU KASHAYAM given for all students.
